Quality and accreditation
The laboratories of the National Food Institute and the National Veterinary Institute are accredited by DANAK according to EN/ISO IEC 17025 (testing/performance of analyses) and ISO 17043 (provision of proficiency testing). Due to great research qualifications the institutes have obtained “flexible scope”, guaranteeing fast and flexible solutions.
The scientists of the institutes are internationally recognized experts with highly qualified knowledge and experience and they participate in several international committees and councils, e.g. WHO, OIE, EU, CODEX, EFSA and ISO.
